Yamaha FG-770S
The Yamaha FG-770S is an all-solid-wood dreadnought produced in Japan from 1978 to 1981. It carries either an orange label (used on Japan-built FGs from 1974 to 1985) or a white oval label (used on Taiwan-built examples from 1977 to 2001), making the label a reliable dating tool. Its solid spruce top, solid mahogany back and sides, and mahogany neck set it apart from the laminate-back orange-label FGs of the same period. No notable players are documented.
