Yamaha FG-470S
The Yamaha FG-470S was produced from 1985 to 1989. Its top is solid spruce, with Indian rosewood back and sides and a nato neck. Label identification is useful for dating these guitars: examples originating from Japan carry an orange label, while Taiwan-built examples use a white oval label. The headstock featured a Dove logo, which was replaced by a Leaf logo in 1987. No notable players are documented in association with this model.
