Yamaha FG-470S
The Yamaha FG-470S was produced from 1985 to 1989 with a solid spruce top, Indian rosewood back and sides, and a nato neck. Two label variants exist depending on origin: an orange label (Japan only, 1974–1985) and a white oval label (Taiwan only, 1977–2001), making the label a useful reference point for buyers dating their instrument. The headstock carried a Dove logo, which was replaced by a Leaf logo in 1987. No players are documented in association with this model.
