Yamaha FG-441S

The Yamaha FG-441S is a white-oval-label dreadnought built in Taiwan from 1993 to 1999, with a solid spruce top, ovangkol back and sides, and a mahogany neck. Owners describe a rich, full sound that comes from the solid-top construction. White-haze blushing on the back finish is the typical aging pattern from moisture under the lacquer. The white oval label places this model within Yamaha's Taiwan production era, which ran from 1977 through 2001.
