Yamaha FG-435AT

The Yamaha FG-435AT is a white-oval-label dreadnought built in Taiwan from 1992 to 1996, with a spruce top, agathis back and sides, and a nato neck. The white oval label was used by Yamaha on Taiwan-built guitars from 1977 to 2001, giving buyers a reliable dating reference. Owners describe a voice that sits noticeably different from the rest of the FG-435 family, distinct enough that it earns regular rotation alongside other FGs rather than being shelved. Thrift store finds are still possible on these.
