Yamaha FG-420A

The Yamaha FG-420A was produced from 1989 to 1995 and carries a white oval label, the label style Yamaha used on Taiwan-built guitars from 1977 through 2001. The white oval label is one of the most reliable dating tools for buyers examining these instruments, immediately placing the guitar within that Taiwanese production era. Construction features a spruce top with nato back, sides, and neck. Additional specifications include a rosewood fingerboard, a scale length of approximately 25 inches, a nut width of approximately 1 11/16 inches, and chrome tuners. The guitar is finished in natural. No players have been documented in association with this model.
