Yamaha FG-411
The Yamaha FG-411 is a white-oval-label dreadnought built in Taiwan from 1993 to 1999, with a spruce top, nato back and sides, and a nato neck. The white oval label places it within the Taiwan label era that ran from 1977 to 2001, making that label a useful dating reference for buyers examining a used example. A milky, cloudy finish on the back and sides is the typical aging pattern from moisture getting under the lacquer; a hair dryer on the affected area can pull the blush back out with patience. No players have been formally documented in association with this model.
