The Yamaha FG-405 was produced from 1985 to 1989, built in Taiwan with a spruce top, mahogany back and sides, and a nato neck. Guitars from this model carry a white oval label, used by Yamaha on Taiwan-produced instruments from 1977 through 2001. No players have been documented in association with this model.
