Yamaha FG-400M
The Yamaha FG-400M is a Japanese-made flat-top acoustic produced from 1982 to 1986, featuring a solid spruce top, mahogany back and sides, and a nato neck. It was not distributed in the United States. Dating one depends on the label: orange labels indicate Japanese manufacture within Yamaha's 1974–1985 orange-label period, while white oval labels point to Taiwanese production from the 1977–2001 white-label era.
