Yamaha FG-400
The Yamaha FG-400 was produced from 1985 to 1989, built with a spruce top, mahogany back and sides, and a nato neck. Two label types are associated with this model: an orange label, used on Japan-made instruments, and a white oval label, used on Taiwan-made instruments. The headstock logo transitioned from the Dove design to the Leaf design in 1987, offering a useful reference point for dating individual examples. No notable players are documented.
