Yamaha FG-365SII
The Yamaha FG-365SII is a dreadnought built in Japan from 1981 to 1985. Japanese examples carry an orange label, used on domestic-market guitars from 1974 to 1985, while Taiwan-built examples from the same period carry a white oval label, used from 1977 to 2001. The guitar features a solid spruce top, rosewood back and sides — often configured as a three-piece — and a mahogany neck. The three-piece back arrangement draws comparisons to the Martin D-35. Owners describe a warm, resonant, powerful voice with headroom and good sustain. Action at the twelfth fret on well-kept examples typically sits around 2.5 millimeters, with saddle material remaining for further adjustment.
