Yamaha FG-350
The Yamaha FG-350 is a red label jumbo built in Japan and Taiwan from 1969 to 1972, with a spruce top, coral rosewood back and sides, and a mahogany neck. Guitars from this production run carry the red label, which Yamaha used from 1967 through 1972; examples made after 1972 would carry the tan label, used from 1972 to 1975. The FG-350 shares its hummingbird-style pickguard with the larger FG-300, and the original pickguards on both models tend to deteriorate over decades, which is why replica pickguards are a stock restoration part for these. The fingerboard and bridge are rosewood, and multi-ply body binding and rosette give the guitar a more refined appearance than the simpler models in the early FG range. No players have been documented in association with this model.
