Yamaha FG-335L
The Yamaha FG-335L was produced from 1977 to 1981 and holds the distinction of being the first left-handed model in the FG-3XX line, introduced alongside the FG-335, FG-340, and FG-336SB in 1977. The guitar features a spruce top with mahogany back and sides and a nato neck. Depending on production origin and date, examples may carry a black label (1974–1977), an orange label (1974–1985, Japan only), or a white oval label (1977–2001, Taiwan only), making the label a useful dating tool.
