Yamaha FG-312II
The Yamaha FG-312II is a twelve-string dreadnought produced from 1981 to 1985, with a spruce top, mahogany back and sides, and a nato neck. Japanese examples carry an orange label, used from 1974 to 1985, while Taiwanese examples carry a white oval label, used from 1977 to 2001. The closed-headstock design addressed tuner sourcing issues found on the earlier FG-312. Owners note that standard Dunlop Trigger capos can struggle with twelve-string tension, making a dedicated twelve-string capo the practical choice.
