Yamaha FG-300S
The Yamaha FG-300S was produced from 1982 to 1986 with construction shared between Japan and Taiwan. Japanese-made examples carry an orange label, used on Japan-built instruments from 1974 to 1985, while Taiwan-built examples carry a white oval label, used from 1977 to 2001 on Taiwan production. Knowing which label is present helps date and place a specific instrument. The guitar is built with a spruce top, American walnut back and sides, and a Nato neck. No players have been documented in association with this model.
