Yamaha FG-300J
The Yamaha FG-300J was produced from 1974 to 1975 and may be found with any of three label variants: the Tan label (used 1972–1975 on guitars from Japan and Taiwan), the Black label (1974–1977, Japan and Taiwan), and the Orange label (1974–1985, Japan only). Its construction features a spruce top with Indian rosewood back and sides, an African mahogany neck, neck binding, and sealed tuners. Originally priced at 30,000 yen, the FG-300J was positioned toward the upper end of the FG lineup for its era. Its relatively brief production window makes it among the less commonly encountered models in the vintage FG series. No specific players have been documented in association with this model.
