Yamaha FG-252B

The Yamaha FG-252B is an orange label folk-size guitar built in Japan from 1978 to 1980, with an Ezo spruce top, Indian rosewood back and sides, and a nato neck. It carries the original FG-150 body shape, which Yamaha designed in 1966 based on ergonomics for Japanese players rather than copying overseas brands. Laminated construction was used throughout. The guitar was not distributed in the US. Depending on production origin, examples may carry an orange label (Japan) or a white oval label (Taiwan).
