Yamaha FG-250M

The Yamaha FG-250M is a dreadnought produced from 1982 to 1986 at Nippon Gakki in Japan, carrying an orange label (used on Japanese-built guitars from 1974 to 1985) or a white oval label (used on Taiwan-built examples from 1977 to 2001), which helps buyers date and locate their instrument. Construction features a solid spruce top, mahogany back and sides, and a nato neck. Set-up examples often carry bone bridge pins, bone nut, and bone saddle as upgrades from the original urea hardware, and neck resets are common service work given the age.
