Yamaha FG-210
The Yamaha FG-210 is a 12-string slot-head jumbo acoustic introduced in 1972, built with a spruce top, Agathis back and sides, and a Nato neck. It spans three label eras: guitars from 1972 may carry the Red or Tan label, while those produced through 1974 may show the Tan label; the Black label version, redesignated the FG-210-1 (with a subscript -1 on the rectangular label), ran from 1974 through 1977 and was produced in both Japan and Taiwan. Japan transitioned to the Black label in mid-1974, Taiwan in mid-1975. The slot headstock bears the three-tuning-fork-in-circle Yamaha logo, and Taiwan-made examples carry either a "Republic of China/Made in Taiwan" or the rarer "Made in Taiwan" only Black label.
