Yamaha FG-202B
The Yamaha FG-202B is a folk-size acoustic built in Japan from 1978 to 1980, fitted with a spruce top, sapele back and sides, and a nato neck. Two label variants exist depending on origin: an orange label was used on Japanese domestic market instruments from 1974 to 1985, while a white oval label identifies Taiwan-built examples produced between 1977 and 2001. Survivors tend to come back set up with low action, since the small body responds well to a tight setup and the laminate construction has stayed stable through decades. No players have been formally documented in association with this model.
