Yamaha FG-200F
The Yamaha FG-200F is a folk-size acoustic produced briefly in 1974 and 1975, built in Japan and Taiwan. The top is laminated spruce, with African mahogany back and sides and a nato neck. Examples may carry a tan label (1972–1975), black label (1974–1977), or orange label (1974–1985), making the label a useful dating tool. Surviving examples often turn up with replaced tuners and oxidized hardware, as these were lower-tier FGs that saw regular use.
