Yamaha FG-110E-1

The Yamaha FG-110E-1 was produced from 1974 to 1977, with the "-1" suffix added to the model number around 1975 on a small black rectangular label — a detail easy to overlook. Depending on year and origin, examples may carry a tan label (1972–1975, Japan and Taiwan), black label (1974–1977, Japan and Taiwan), or orange label (1974–1985, Japan only). Construction uses a spruce top with katsura back and sides and a nato neck.
