Yamaha FG-1000

The FG-1000 was produced from 1973 to 1974, representing the top of Yamaha's FG line before those high-end models transitioned into the L series in 1975. It features a solid spruce top with solid jacaranda back and sides and an African mahogany neck. Depending on production date, examples may carry a tan label (1972–1975) or black label (1974–1977). The FG-1000 saw no US distribution, making it scarce in the North American market.
